After the one incident it did not happen again, but I no longer had confidence in the radio and did not use it any more, .it also quit communicating with software, The size of the radio is exactly what I am looking for, for pick up. This may have been a one time bad radio which can happen with anything, personally I would not buy another one. I have the Radioddity GD77 and it is an excellent analog\/digital radio, so the company usually puts out a great product. The shipper did take product back without any hassle, which means they are a reputable supplier.
